The most proficient in safety – through collaboration!

The Finnish Association of Fire Officers (FAFO) is a non-profit association aiming to promote safety in society and to develop the professional skills of its members. Our membership encompasses rescue fire officers and non-commissioned officers, contract fire officers, security industry experts, senior executives, and other experts. The association does not work with professional advocacy.

We are a respected debater in safety policy matters and a cooperative organization that relies on open partnership and continuous development, providing expert, training and materials services. Our effectiveness is based on long-term work and ongoing interaction with various authorities and safety actors.
