On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 07:36, the fire alarm went off at the Børsen (Copenhagen Stock Exchange) in Copenhagen. This marked the beginning of one of the largest fire and emergency response operations in Copenhagen's recent history. A severe fire ravaged the building, but Greater Copenhagen Fire Department succeeded through a risky and extensive effort in saving 45% of the historical building and 99% of the valuable artifacts it contained.
